Coleus are prone to infestation by aphids, spider mites and scale insects. If you notice webbing on your plants or dew drops shining on leaves or stems, then use a strong spray of water to remove the pests.

However, do not use a strong spray of water. Do not soak the leaves whatsoever.

If your coleus is wilting, you will want to remove the dead leaves. Coleus typically have brown or yellow spots on their leaves as they are going through their first bit of growth and different stages of development.
